I know its really frustrating to wait for movies to finish buffering. Specially Divx movies, they are slow as hell to stream. It's because of the file size, think of it as downloading a 800 MB file. Thanks to the developer's that we are able to watch along with download, that has saved lots of time. To watch movie whenever we want instead of waiting first to stream we need to download. It's easy to find sites where you can watch streaming movies but downloading seems to cost.

If you have that you got the high quality movies that are available online on video sharing sites like stagevu, movshare, etc.. in you hard disk. You can even burn this file in dvd and watch it in your dvd player.

Every movie streamed by Divx web player can be downloaded to the hard disk. Follow these steps to download divx movies for free:

Step 1: Find a divx video you want to download.

This tutorial is for DIVX WEB PLAYER only. If the divx is being played by some other players this wont work. Right click on the player screen to know about the player, if it say's About DivX player, or anything related to Divx web player, you will be able to download divx movies.

Step 2: Right Click on The player screen, select Preferences.

Step 3: Check on Auto-save all video downloads.

If you want to create a folder per movie check on Create one sub-folder per website

If you want to be notified when download is complete check the Alert me when auto-saving files.

Step 4: Click on Divx Movies button to specify, where you want the files to be saved after download. Its on the same window, before Auto-save all video downloads option.

Now let the video stream, and once its completely streamed you will be notified that it has been saved to your local folder. You can now watch the high quality divx full movie anytime you want without even bothering to go online.
